Caught Up

Spending time in useless chatter,
nothing valuable, but vain;
perhaps a byte of Hollywood morsel,
Brad and Angelina's reign.

Giving o'er to mindly lustfulness,
listening to satan's favorite lie;
"Ahh, that's really not so bad,
did God say you'll surely die?"

CAUGHT UP in a mix of vices,
"not~so~bads" that seem so small;
calling lies but tiny fibbies,
makes tem seem like no lie at all!

Giving God just Sunday mornings,
now and then a midweek night;
saving other times for ourself
"Say this christianity's out of sight!"

CAUGHT UP in this world's devices,
is it "fun" ? the measuring rod;
live it up, yep, that's the ticket,
catch~ya~later "daddy-O-god!"

"God is dead" the Neitche theory,
no rules nor regulations to obey;
came abortion on demand
Planned Parenthood is the way!

CAUGHT UP, Self upon its throne,
God and prayer in school no more;
teach the children only evolution,
give out condoms at the door!

Changing history will be a snap,
America's CAUGHT UP in other things;
MTV new faddish teacher
from the "tube" the F word rings!

Picture this a true reality,
The Rapture approaching as God said;
Those not saved by Jesus' blood
left behind as a "book" unread!

CAUGHT UP Christians on a journey,
meeting our Saviour in the cloud;
those on earth CAUGHT UP in mourning,
WAILING, oh, 'twill be SO LOUD!
