Let blinded eyes
that view but don't see;
first truly, Lord, look
well upon Thee.

Look well at how
you bore your cross;
daily counting not
the cost.

Change our hearts
to suit your will;
that your commission
Lord, we'll fulfill.

Kindness be thou
our cherish'd friend;
that other's hearts
our tenderness mend.

Cause your Word
Lord, to be our guide;
that human faults have
no place to hide.

This heartfelt cry,
Lord, is sent to Thee;
pentitent and humble
'pon bended knee.
