Harden not your heart, saith God,
lest a door for sin is left ajar;
Love cannot enter, hate spins
its evil web,
abusing the spirit
it shall mar!

Meanness lashes out,
spewing its poisonous venom,
upon all who are near;
Quarrelsome, uncivil,
wretchedly warlike,
bruising, creating fear!

No heart is safe
from a cold, hardened heart,
that targets victims,
Tears them apart!

Heart harden'd be not deceived,
nought is hidden from God;
What you sow ~ you shall reap,
Take care the path you trod.

Pray quickly for forgiveness,
stay not in that foreign land;
God with merciful compassion,
forgives, yes, He understands!

Surrender and Peace like a river,
Shall bathe afresh and anew;
A brand~new heart responding,
To Father so Faithful & True!
