Oh, my precious Saviour
hear my prayer ~ HIDE ME . . .
Let your voice be what they hear
your heart what others see ~

Let your compassionate tenderness
gently hold in warm embrace . . .
Oh, Jesus ~ not my own, no
let them see your face ~

Let them feel your nail~scarred
hands, your touch beyond compare . . .
Allow your glorious presence to
be what they long to share ~

Let them see Golgotha's hilltop
let them view your dying tree . . .
And KNOW beyond a doubt YOU
gave yourself to make us free ~

Let a barren, empty tomb
with grave clothes upon the ground . . .
Be envisioned in their minds
let the lost know they've been found ~

Let the royal blood You shed
be The Fount for which they yearn . . .
That they'll KNOW its mighty power
desire for You within them burn ~

Hear my prayer, O, precious Shepherd
Darlin' Jesus, hear this plea . . .
Within Your glorious Resurrection
Praise your name, Oh Lord, Hide me !!!
