Lord, I'm imprisoned
in shackles and chains;
screaming for help from
tormenting pains.

Chains of dark thoughts
and emotions so raw;
OH, PLEASE PRAY ME FREE,
and help my heart thaw.

Clothe me in YOU, Lord,
please hide me away;
from eyes so accusing
deliverance today.

Give me assurance
e'en though I have failed;
that your grace is sufficient
and good shall prevail.

I am so confused, Lord,
my mind's all atwist;
how could I know
my life would be THIS?

Forgive me my sins,
Lord, don't let this be;
HELP ~ HELP ~ HELP,
OH, PLEASE PRAY ME FREE!
