Say goodbye to 2008
Ring the new year in;
Thank the Lord for His sweet grace
let our new anointing begin.

Wait not for goosebumps to manifest
nor visions of grandeur to appear;
start singing praises to His Majesty
thank Him for being ever near.

Believe not news prognosticators
that foretell reports of doom;
Remember the Lord's resurrection
how he arose the third day from that tomb!

Thank God for His irrefutable Word
claim His promises of health and wealth;
let's keep our eyes upon the prize
don't let satan confuse with stealth!

Whatsoever is noble and just
of a good report and pure;
Think upon the lovely things
praiseworthy are they and true!

Let us lift high exultations to the Lord,
walk in love; rebuke strife and fear;
Remember to whom we belong, dear ones,
HalleluYah, RING IN THE NEW YEAR!
