Oh, yes, it was a building
but, home? you ask, "NO WAY" . . .
orphanage the meaning's clear
'twas work ~ so little play! ~

No stimulation for eager minds
no "look forward to" had he . . .
same routine day in ~ day out
what would his future be? ~

Just when he thought "WHO CARES"
for orphans ~ "Don't expect a hug" . . .
wonder of wonders something new
out of the blue ~ A BUG! ~

Not just any old average bug
OH, NO ~ this one's for ME . . .
it flew into my forehead
just as straight as straight could be! ~

A God~Sent miracle of sorts
at least my heart thought so . . .
that HE'D send a little bug along
just to let me know ~

He is watching over me
from His home up above . . .
my DAD for all Eternity
to cover me with HIS LOVE!
