The cross shall ne'er be silent,
for those with ears to hear;
the value of its message
grows dearer year to year.

It speaks of sweet Salvation,
of mercy kind and true;
obedience and sacrifice of
what amazing grace can do!

The Cross speaks Restoration,
'tween God and fallen man;
whose Son said, "Not my will but thine",
fulfilling Father's plan.

Of cleansing sins ~ Forgiveness,
that death cannot destroy;
an Everlasting crimson Fount,
of strength, of peace, of joy!

Oh, glorious, pure refreshing,
The cross speaks Heaven's Song;
Spirit~breathed relationship
that shall endure e'er long.

The cross speaks Liberation,
from sin, from fear, from shame;
LOVE is the language of the Cross,
Rebirth in Jesus' name!
