Faith did not leave without a
fray,
No, it was much too strong;
We watched the battle ebb & wain,
Faith limped away ere long.

With armour dent'd here and
there,
We viewed its head bowed low;
Yes, we are weeping; sobbing,
as it looks back with tears aflow.

Oh, God, we questioned
painfully,
Why must, sweet Faith, lose out?
Life shall surely lose its
meaning,
we know without a doubt!

Fear shall flaunt and swagger
with such victorious gloat;
victims unknowing, price too
high,
God's wisest Prophet wrote.

Fear so deviously grins and
brags
"Another one bites the dust";
Sniveling wimps who once
aspired,
"It IS in GOD we trust"!

I didn't see Faith acquiesce
nor hear its final, gasping
breath;
instead was deafened by the
sound
as Fear laughed itself to death!

For loomed that empty Cross that
told Faith's final victory;
we buried Fear ~ Resurrected
Faith,
TO LIVE ETERNALLY!!!
