Simple as a child could know
how to be born again;
Accepting Jesus as Saviour and Lord,
in sunshine, shadow or rain.

For as a child of eight,
I heard The Gospel bright and clear;
that Jesus paid for all my sins,
would be my Saviour dear.

Upon the cross of Calvary,
they nailed Him, hands and feet;
the sins of all the world he bore,
and died, Father's will to complete.

He knocked upon my heart's door,
I answered swiftly, too;
O, please come in, dear Jesus,
I said, and be my Saviour, true.

As SIMPLE as just one, two, three,
The Father, Son and Holy Ghost;
became so real within my life,
so sacred, Christ, The Host.

Believe me it's no mystery,
Father made known His perfect will;
All need this Saviour, Jesus,
Ahh, He is with me still.

I'll never leave nor forsake thee,
Jesus tells us in God's Word;
A true FOREVER SAVIOUR,
sweetest name I've ever heard.

You'll not be disappointed,
if you do the same as I;
Have paradise on earth and
Heaven when you die!
